Tuesday’s Top Tasty Tracks
THE TOP FOUR BRAND NEW TRACKS FROM NOVEMBER 6TH-12TH.
I’ll get back to some current stuff soon, but there’s so much good music backlogged that deserves some attention.
Neon Mirror – Polyenso
Formerly Oceana, Polyenso has truly made a name for themselves in this indie rock world. Clocking in at just over six minutes, this song is one of the longest I’ve ever featured, and yet it doesn’t get redundant or monotonous (at least in my opinion). They build the song so well throughout, and when the vocals are added it makes for a perfect song. Keep in mind that this band continues to get better with each release, and this is no exception. If you’re a fan of this style, I strongly suggest checking out the rest of their work.
Genre: Ambient Indie Rock
over here – nobigdyl.
dyl is phenomenal, putting together creative hip-hop that brings people together. His lyrical flow and creative lyrics prove he’s on a whole new level for the CHH crowd, doing something so creatively different than everyone else that he demands attention. The music video is tight, and the song is tighter. A unique beat, different flow, and overall catchy style makes dyl a cut above the rest.
Genre: Hip-Hop
Stars Before The Sun – Capstan
There’s a lot of Trash Boat sound coming from this song, and it’s incredible. The chorus takes a good song and makes it incredible, with a beautiful melody and phenomenal harmonies. I’m thrilled they’ve signed to Fearless, one of the best labels in the game right now, and I think that this could be the move to bring them the hype they deserve. The dynamics in this band are impressive, and the songwriting is worth attention alone. Great song from a great band.
Genre: Progressive Pop-Punk
Bad Weather – Near Mint
Most of the dudes in Death of an Era decided to come together and write some catchy pop-punk, and it’s incredible. This song hits really hard and reminds me of the early 2000s pop-punk mixed with the modern version. The production is a little much for me, but there’s no denying the talent here. Looking foward to seeing what else we get from this band.
Genre: Pop-Punk
