The top four tracks brand new from the week of October 18-23.

Fire – The Dangerous Summer

It’s good to have The Dangerous Summer back, and they came back with an incredible song. After countless ups and downs in this band, it seems like they finally have everything together, and I couldn’t be happier. Absolute originality resonates from everything this band does, and this song is no different. Worth a listen.

RIYL: Transit, Acceptance, Cartel

Mirror Room – Ghost Atlas

Ghost Atlas is the solo side-project of Erra’s guitarist and clean vocalist, and it bangs. Jesse is a musician through and through, and this side project is better than most bands. There’s so much to unpack in this song that it demands repeated listens. There’s so many vocal and instrumental layers. This dude is gifted, and it’s showcased in this incredibly catchy and ear-pleasing song.

RIYL: Saosin, Chiodos, Before Their Eyes

Beyond Repair – We Were Sharks

It’s been a long road for this band. They started in 2010, and I found out about them shortly after when their cover of Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” graced my YouTube recommended. I’ve been a fan ever since, always a fan of their mix hardcore and pop-punk similar to A Day To Remember’s early work. Well, they’ve finally signed a North American record deal with Victory Records, along with releasing this song. Their history shines through with this mature single, showcasing polished riffs and beautiful harmonies in the vocal lines. Congrats to WWS, and looking forward to the new album!

RIYL: City Lights, Four Year Strong, Broadside

Forever – Glass Tides

This is the first song from this band. Let me say it again. This is the first song from this band. This song is anthemic and belongs in an arena. Not only is this a great song, but it’s emotionally gut-wrenching. A powerful debut by an amazing band. Dreambound has a future star on their roster with Glass Tides.

RIYL: Sum 41, Bring Me The Horizon, The Used
