Tuesday’s Top Tasty Tracks
Flower (Acoustic) – Vanna
I watched Vanna at warped tour this summer, and talked to them after their set. They are honestly some of the nicest and most humble dudes I have ever met. This song proves that they have serious diversity. They took one of their top tracks off of the album and put a great spin on it. While Vanna is a hardcore band, this acoustic version could easily be on Spotify’s playlist of best singer-songwriter songs of the week.
I Could’ve Been – In Her Own Words
In Her Own Words is definitely on the come up in the pop-punk scene. With their debut full length coming out pretty soon, it’s an exciting time for these guys. IHOW have been grinding it out on the road for the past six years, endured multiple member changes, and finally have a solid line-up and great label backing them (IVR what up). Nod your head to this great track, and please dive into their previous work (especially the song Strangers).
Closer (The Chainsmokers Cover) – FigureItOut
My bet is you’ve heard this song before. Instead of just do a straightforward cover, these guys put a solid twist on it. I love what they did with the blink-182 line. This is honestly just some good pop-punk of a great song.
Who Else (Feat. Social Club Misfits) – Andy Mineo
I’m a huge sucker for anything Marty and Fern of Social Club touch. But any time they team up with Andy, they create gold (see Coogi Sweater), and this time is no different. This song is a banger from start to finish, and if you like hip-hop, I can guarantee you’ll dig this.
